Mill Creek Wa. was incorporated in 1983 and continues to develop as a unique community committed to quality living with community values. Seattle and Bellevue are within 20 miles South of Mill Creek, and Bothell is less than 10 miles away. Our community enjoys an 18-hole golf course and country club and the Mill Creek Sports Park, an astroturf little league field. We offer several public parks, Hammit Public Library, the Town Center development project, a Central Market, UW Bookstore, just to name a few.
We are proud of the annual community events hosted in Mill Creek that are made possible solely by the donations and support of our local businesses. Every year the city of Mill Creek joins together with the Parks and Recreation Department and other city businesses and non-profit organizations to coordinate such events as the Spring Eggstravaganza, Children's Concerts, Trunk or Treat, and the holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Mill Creek's parks and recreation facilities are beyond compare when it comes to its community and neighborhood parks, natural areas, open spaces, recreational trails, facilities, and year-round activities. We offer recreation services such as classes and special events specifically developed for ALL recreation needs of ALL of our residents, from preschool, youth, and teenage, to adult and senior citizens of our community.
